Onn Nakatsugawa Hotel

Onn is a cozy little inn just 10 minutes from the train station. The double room was well-equipped, and the public bath was a refreshing treat. Breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious variety of japanese cuisine served buffet-style. Having coffee available in the lobby 24/7 was a nice touch too.

The place was clean with an attentive staff. It had great walkable and absolutely perfect location so close to interesting shops, supermarket and the train/bus station. Also, we were at a medium distance from Nakatsugawa-juku.

Ideal for couples looking for a unique getaway

The hotel is located just 8 minutes from the train station which is convenient. The room was clean and had really nice amenities. I also noticed they have a bath for men and women, and even offer massages, which I couldn't try because it was just for one night. But the breakfast, wow! So much variety in Japanese cuisine, really tasty!

It wasn't cheap, but for what you get it's still quite acceptable.

I loved the clean and modern feel of Onn. The public bath felt rejuvenating after hiking between Magome and Tsumago, and the buffet breakfast had a delicious selection. The staff was not only friendly but also spoke English well. I appreciated having coffee available to grab in the foyer. The room suited my needs perfectly. A slight downside was the firmness of the mattress, common for many hotels in Japan. The process for removing shoes in the lobby is interesting, as it helps keep the carpets clean. Walking around in socks felt quite fun. It would have also been nice to have a designated area in the spa for used towels instead of bringing them back to the room.

The onsen offers a relaxing experience after a long hike, with unique patch requirements for tattooed guests, unlike many others that don't offer such accommodations. The public bath, although small, delivers a refreshing treat nearly any time of day.

Rooms lack sound insulation, causing disturbances from neighboring guests, and the shoe policy at check-in complicates things unnecessarily. Prices hover around 12,000 yen per night, but amenities like drinking water in the room and a decent breakfast variety are missing.

Comfortable room, convenient location that is just a short walk from the train station making it easy to explore the area and enjoy various local coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

The hotel was super clean. The super nice team! Free access to a lovely public onsen was a treat. Breakfast was tasty with lots of variety! Great spot for exploring nearby shops and eateries.

Rude shoe policy upon entering, but modern hotel with amazing breakfast options and relaxing onsen.

We enjoyed a spacious triple loft room perfect for our kids, while the breakfast had a fantastic variety. Just wish the double room wasn’t so snug for our second night.

Located in a very luxurious building close to the train station and eating places. Well laid out and spotless units with a sink in the bathroom. - the storage and sofa in the room are very useful. - Excellent and perfect location in the city center, right at Meoto Iwa.
